C&S University In Kwara To Begin Academic Operations By 2026 – Rev. Esther Ajayi

The Cherubim and Seraphim University in Kwara State is projected to commence academic activities by 2026, according to Rev. Esther Ajayi, Chairperson of the Cherubim and Seraphim Centenary Anniversary Steering Committee.

Ajayi, who also serves as the Founder of Love of Christ Church in Lagos, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) during the church’s centenary lecture held in Lagos. She revealed that the university project is already 80 percent completed and will soon be ready to admit its first set of students.

The centenary anniversary lecture, organised by the Cherubim and Seraphim Church on Monday, was aimed at encouraging members to reflect on the mandate of the church while also projecting its vision for the future.

Speaking on the significance of the university project, Ajayi described it as a milestone achievement for the church, stressing that it affirms the body’s commitment to human development over the past 100 years. According to her, the institution will play a key role in shaping the character of future leaders.

She emphasized that with the increasing decline in moral values, the university will serve as a corrective institution, instilling the right ethical orientation required to advance society.

“The Cherubim and Seraphim as a body has come to remodel holiness in the daily conduct of society, and this will be reflected in the school as it grooms students to become better individuals,” Ajayi said.

Highlighting the global vision of the church, she noted that the establishment of the university forms part of the institution’s broader agenda to strengthen its role as a bridge builder in the world.

“The church is setting up institutions and structures to advance its bridge building in the world. A renewed Cherubim and Seraphim inspires generations and the global community to rediscover its root and engender true human service,” she added.

Ajayi further stated that the church is focused on taking the gospel beyond Nigeria to Europe and other parts of the West, stressing that education remains a vital tool in grooming future ambassadors of the faith.

“We are looking at taking the gospel to Europe and the West. It is in schools that we groom persons who can take the gospel back to rescue humanity. We need to train bold minds that will preach and evangelise all over the world to correct growing anomalies that pose threats to humanity,” she said.
