Serenity Royale Hospital in Abuja has denied issuing a viral medical report claiming actress Regina Daniels is battling severe substance abuse.

The circulating document alleged Daniels had been diagnosed with a substance use disorder and placed on a detox programme beginning September 24, 2025, bearing the signature of the hospital’s Managing Director, Adekunle Adesina.

In a statement on Thursday, the hospital dismissed the report, saying it did not originate from them and urged the public to disregard it.

The controversy comes days after Ned Nwoko’s wife, Laila Charani, accused Daniels of introducing her to drugs and alcohol years ago, saying the habit nearly ruined her marriage. She added that Nwoko strongly disapproves of any form of substance use.

Before the allegations, Charani had been sharing posts about focusing on family life and peace. Meanwhile, Daniels has continued to respond online, insisting her marriage was stable during their seven years together.
